About Us

Pastor Joel Blessitt grew up traveling the world as the son of an Evangelist sharing Jesus.  As he grew up, he lived a life of this world.  Many bad choices and decisions were made but he always knew that God was with him, watching over him, loving him, and that there was a plan for his life.  In 2003, he rededicated his life to God, he begin to serve in a church in New Orleans, his life begin to change.  He saw hope and felt the love of God again.  Pastor Joel recalls clearly the day that God called him into ministry.  He was in a service listening to the speaker and God said, “I Choose You.  Don’t not leave this service without telling someone that I have called you into ministry.”  He was nervous and waited until everyone has left and walked up to a lady who he knew well and told her what God has spoken to him.  The tears begin to flow, it was a new life for him.  In 2005, Hurricane Katrina changed the path of his life.  He moved to Denver Colorado and begin to serve in a local church that led him into full time ministry.  He met his wonderful wife Cuc Kim Blessitt and together they served God.  For the past twelve years, he has served, developed, trained, and led many ministries.  Pastor Joel begin to feel a shift in his life, God was moving him to a new chapter of life.  He was not sure what it was but he knew he was to be obedient to God’s call.  He resigned his position and sought God for direction.  After a brief time, Pastor Joel felt God revealed to him to start The Inspire Church.
